Dan Perrelli is a Los Angeles-based wine connoisseur and owner of wine retailer First the Wine / Then the Story, who has dedicated his life to making the improbable probable.
Having moved with his family from Illinois to New Delhi as a child, Dan has since blended fortuitous opportunity with spirited adventure, traveling and working in places as close as New York and Maryland, and as far as London and Bucharest..
Having a career that transcends industry, Dan has worked on legislation for the New York State Council of the Arts, as the Chief Operating Officer for a firm that designed for Ralph Lauren, YSL, and Calvin Klein, with Eastman Kodak on their film Laboratory in Romania, and as a producer for the Shoah Foundation, producing video histories of Holocaust survivors.
Truly a man with a lifetime of stories to tell, Dan fell in love with wine in the early 70s, and the rest is history. Join him for his new event, Effervescence, a celebration of Champagne and sparkling wine, taking place for the first time in 2018 in Los Angeles.
